Passenger killed in head-on wreck in Spanaway is identified

A man killed in a head-on crash in Spanaway has been identified as 27-year-old Nathan Saguid.

The wreck occurred about 9:15 p.m. Sunday when a suspected drunken driver crossed the center line in the 16600 block of Spanaway Loop Road and struck an SUV headed in the other direction.

Saguid, of Spanaway, was a passenger in the suspected drunken driver’s white sedan.

The driver, 23, was hospitalized with serious injuries from the collision. He is expected to face criminal charges.

The driver of the SUV was not injured.
